A&W is on a mission to only use and serve 100% grass-fed beef from Canada in their restaurants. A&W Canadian rancher partners are happy to focus on regenerative agriculture, animal welfare, and grassland management when raising their cattle. Great burgers are always first for them. A&W has been offering beef raised without the use of synthetic hormones and steroids since 2013, and as of this point, all of their beef is also grass-fed and grass-finished. Beef that has been grass-fed and finished is as straightforward as it sounds because adult cattle only graze on grass and other forages like hay. A&W is dedicated to providing Canadians with burgers they can enjoy with confidence and sourcing their grass-fed and finished beef from carefully chosen ranches in Canada, the US, Australia, and New Zealand.
A&W firmly believes that great food begins with quality ingredients. For this reason, A&W only offers chicken that was raised without the use of antibiotics and was on a vegetarian diet consisting solely of grains. They are also pleased to note that all A&W chicken burgers and strips are created from seasoning-free, all-chicken breast meat. All of this is a part of A&W’s promise to provide you with food that you can feel good about.
It is good to change. For this reason, A&W partnered with Beyond Meat to offer its tasty plant-based protein as the first national burger chain in Canada. The patty on A&W Beyond Meat Burger is vegan, delicious, filling, and all a burger should be. Natural cane sugar and all-natural flavors are used to make A&W Root Beer. So treating oneself this way is more natural.
A delectable sausage patty made from pork that wasn’t given antibiotics, topped with a freshly cracked egg from hens fed a vegetarian diet, and all of that on a toasted English muffin or sesame seed bun. On a freshly toasted bun, two perfectly seasoned patties made from grass fed beef are topped with real cheddar cheese, mouthwatering bacon made from antibiotic-free pork, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickles, and Teen sauce.
